I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Quick post today.

Many of you precious readers asked what camera I’m using. I use a Canon 400D and a family of lenses that I collected over teaching myself how to use the camera. Most importantly, all the photos in the blog taken by my camera are fed through photoshop first to crop and adjust brightness, colour and saturation. I have this image of freshly taken photos as red, blood dripping raw meat which needs to be cooked thoroughly before being served. Obviously like steak, this also depends on how well done you want it and I personally like it medium well done. Also remember, overcooking leads to burning, which leads to fire, which leads to a housefire, which can lead to a forest fire, which leads to national disaster, which may lead to THE END OF THE WORLD. Underlining moral: don’t crank up the saturation.

I’m always open to give help and advice!

(yes I do realise the sidebar is a bit broken, it just happened on its own so I’m gonna see if it’ll go away on its own…)

Yes I’m in ROMA! Punkie and Winnie you’ve just won a goldenvault full of my wet and affectionate smooches for guessing right. Actually the pretzels hint was rubbish, I learned that the pretzel-like things they were serving on the Alitalia flight were were called Taralli so gave myself a tutti frutti smack on the butt for getting it wrong. Sorry.

Other than the fact that everything written reads to me like a Spaghettihouse menu, eg. Spaghetti All’Arabbiata: Please Do not lean, this city is the most beautiful city I’ve ever visited. So rich in history and culture, you can almost taste the height of the Roman Empire by the mere vastness of the architecture. Breathtaking doesn’t even start to explain what this place is, even tap water tastes like laced with some kind of myth. Actually tap water here tastes pretty damn good, like rainbows and kitten butts.

Tomorrow: Vatican city with a sprinkle of gelato, and shopping under the Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps). [Q&A on hold until I get home and have no obligation to get up and walk till my feet are stubs]

It seems I landed in Poland just to bounce back out of the country. I basically repacked my huge London luggage into a luggage.zip file as my mother hovered above me telling me to take extra socks and a hat and a scarf and another sweater and blablabla, all the things that you end up leaving in hotel drawers. In such case, pack however you want and when you get to the hotel you’ll find 5 extra socks, a hat, a scarf, a sweater and a blblabla mysteriously stuffed in her own luggage. She’ll say Oh dear, just in case. I’m a bad child.

So I’m not in Warsaw anymore obviously. Any guesses where I am?

What is your nationality; Where were you born and raised; Where have you travelled; How tall are you? [erika]

  • I’m South Korean.
  • I was born in Seoul, but raised in Warsaw (Poland).
  • I travelled around the world when I was a kid in a Helium balloon with a metrosexual person in a bunnysuit. No, um I lived in Vienna for 2 years when I was a baby, and I was taken around when I was a kid through most of the major cities in Europe. I’ve never been to the States and the only Asian countries I’ve been to were Tokyo and Seoul. We mostly radiated around central Europe, so I did a lot of adolescent naked-swimming in Hungary and the Czech rep.
  • How tall am I – I’m 168cm/5’5(?). Although, I do have heels attached to my sole like hardskin so I usually breathe the 175cm/5’8 air.

How do you take care of your hair? [sputnik sweetheart]

I dunk it in vitamin water daily and whip it occasionally with a belt to make it more frothy. I don’t actually have any haircare tips, I just wash +condition it in the morning, let it dry naturally (yes, naughty). My guess is that everything I eat goes to my hair – hence my dying skin and generally unhealthy body. My hair has totalitarian rule, it seems.

What is your job/occupation? [punkie]

I’m a full-time student studying Graphic Design in Central Saint Martins, but I also work freelance for a Dutch Webdesign company.

Why are you so fabulous?; Can you post more DIYs? [Christine]

  • Fabulous, huh? I hardly think so (but thanks!), but methinks my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
  • Yes of course I will post more DIYs, I’m currently bone dry of inspiration for doable/easy DIYs. The knitting and sewing will only reach a small number of people so I need to find something that everyone can benefit from. AND I need to learn how to sew anyway :P

Four questions a day, in the order they were posted! :D
