I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

What I love about the Polish is that they never like to beat around the bushes. Have I taken up a new gardening interest – no, not in a million years would I gain the ability to keep a plant alive for more than a week – I mean it in the way they seem to be able to nonchalantly spit out their most honest of opinions. Meet interesting specimen no.2: Andrzej (above in the dashing white jacket) is a freelance journalist who I’d first met last London Fashion Week standing in line behind me for one of the shows (previously did an interview with him here). We were walking in Old Town the other day and I was completely yanked off guard when he casually commented that my face is round. I know, dearest Asian readers especially, I had to stoop down to pick up my own jaw. Later I realized that he didn’t mean to jab at a complex, so I’m sorry for that slap and flying side kick; did you find that tooth?, but only to comment on how round faces are grossly underappreciated in the industry. To top it off he sent me a link of an article he wrote for Lula.pl last November about round faces, entitled ‘Pretty as a Doll’. Ah well, then I just had to forgive him.

Also, insert another priceless facial expression on finding out he’s about 10 years younger than I thought he was, my age-o-meter needs serious inspection these days it seems.

Yeah before you start with the leggings with shorts thing, I’m just gonna say that I’m not so fond of flashing  skin and handing out lust on a plate so I guess I’ll have to be arrested by the fashion police (among you who would like to play police? I like fluffy handcuffs) and go hang out with leggings-as-pants ladies in jail. Will you visit or write?
It’s hard for me too – as much as I want to admit that I’m not, I am in fact a slave of trends, and miniskirts and hotpants do make my football legs look longer and leaner… and if you can believe it, I also feel hot in the summer! This is not to justify the mediocre outfit I’m posting now, but since the weather in the UK seems to be back full throttle and all, I thought I might give a bit of heads up for a long summer with no breath of fresh air in terms of outfits. Go on, press ‘next’, fresh air is not far!

Thank you Ellen muchissimo for the photos!

Jacket – Vintage Burberry, Dress & Shoes – Zara, Socks – Topshop, Braided ‘scarf’ – CADO Accessories, Lace scarf – Next, Bag – MarzArt; Thank you Kit for snapping the photos for me!

This is the bag that made my butch(?), German, motorcycle-riding, head tutor for my course go ever so slightly gay by pointing out that he spotted me in Chinatown the other day with it and that he thought the bag was awesome and would I like to go paint my nails with him. Is that a window of opportunity for a bribe swinging open kicking pigeons off that ledge, or is it just me? But in case he happens to stop by, I KID! (Hello Max! 85% or above please)

I’m in love with the bag. My Polish boyfriend loves that I love something Polish and I find that slightly unnerving. Do I really come across as someone who does not appreciate the country I grew up in? Although, looking back on how fast I got into that airplane that departed for London after highschool graduation, I’d guess so. Well let this post be a sort of redemption from all that, because you see, the grey necklace thing is also from Poland! (Thank you CADO Accessories for the generous gift!) If that doesn’t do it, I dunno what will.

Hi, I happen to enjoy being dressed like Thomas the Tank Engine [THANKS KIT] (complete with rail tracks and diamond fences) and possess a generic Asian face, thank you.

Disgruntled blogger says wussup punk. I guess having this 20 20 hindsight on the humiliating behaviour during LFW by certain fashion bloggers and learning about shockingly judgmental thinking behind streetstyle photographers is not helping the mood here. I remember when these photographs were taken I was in absolute bliss and gleefully basking in the LFW creative energy… I’ll explain the fuming later, but you can start by reading this article by Robin Scott of The Global Herald.

(Thank you Kit for taking these pictures1; the shoe shot I stole from her blog, as you can probably tell)
