I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Just a few things that’s become my everyday grab before wheeling the Chinawoman out to work. In fact, they’ve become this ‘shell’ I slip out from when I get home in the evening, then it’s go get a cup of tea and sit in front of the washing machine till the episode is over and the credits go up… and in the morning I just slap some ‘makeup’ on and slither back in. Pretty exciting crustacean I make I must say.

Khaki quilted Barbour jacket – Perfect light windbreaker; Coach suede bag (massive thanks to tcs & Coach) – Otherwise known as Mary Poppins bag, i.e fits the Canon camera so it must be magical (must try lamp…); and Topshop Ambush chelsea boots – best heel height for cycling! I’ve actually considered saving up for the Acne Pistols but I think the conclusion was that I prefer 103 kebabs for the money…

If you feel like I’m talking too much feel free to shove a virtual sock in my mouth, unfortunately this is the only way to avoid you having to read about LFW on Christmas eve. Goodness knows what kind of excuses I’ll come up with then, the usual my-dog-ate-my-keyboard kind of spiel I guess. And I just realised how obsessed I seem to be with the silver clutch! Well, in truth it’s the only thing big enough to accommodate the pieces of cardboard I slipped between the few tickets just to look like I have a grand purpose during the week. Dash off with a powerwalk/jog muttering sorry I’m running late for the next show… a show of balancing a box of Krispy Kreme x Glamour doughnuts on my nose behind Somerset House before an impatient tourist audience shouts ‘SIMON SAYS, JUST EAT THE DAMN DOUGHNUTS WOMAN’. I’m sure I sent you all tickets for that, no?

Thank you Jen for helping me with the photos!

Edit: the red tartan piece is just a shirt from Motel Rocks buttoned up to the top and tied around the waist flat

World, meet my I will never wear these bastards again shoes. They were determined as shelf ornament since the last time it stumpified my poor feet, banished to live a life among the books…. but I guess this is how women go on to have their second child, all memory of pain wiped clean. Did I just compare invaluable childbirth to walking on hooves? Perhaps, but the pain surely induces a similar kind of reaction of wanting to squat in a corner and wail like a pirate with seasickness, yarr?

Thank you Daniel of Bloglovin’ for helping with the photos!

World, meet my new bicycle, CW, or China Woman. The first day I rode it out some idiot in a run-down car drove up to me and yelled TAKE IT EASY CHINA WOMAN. Who, me? Since I’m not Chinese I assumed he knew something I didn’t know so I started calling my bike that. So World, my China Woman and I go fast & slow on the bus lane and sometimes through very narrow alleys. Man… had to go to Thesaurus.com to find child-friendly words for that dirty line, are you happy, parents? Too bad though, because I’m going to woo-hoo with my new favourite shoes tonight. (IT’S OK BECAUSE I’M MARRIED TO IT.)

Thank you Alice (of Alicepoint) for helping with the photos and the lovely brunch!
This is also the first instalment of Uniqlooks for August.

I’ve actually been in Warsaw since Sunday, been passing it like a true headless chicken, you know – no pecking, mostly running around. For some reason, after that Hurts post I’ve been pushing away the lace and pleates, so my luggage so far has been untouched save for these boyfriend chinos from Uniqlo I peeled off the top of the pile and black Topshop heels. The rest of the contents are being pickled and I guess when I’m leaving on Saturday all I’ll have to do is throw my cosmetics bag in, zip it up and go.
