I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

LFW Day Five and barely posting stuff from the first day, I’ve clearly been blogging for just a very short while, I think today’s my third day (cough not over a year cough), and do not know how this all works…! OK fine I have no excuse, give me the cone hat I’ll go sit on a stool.

I’ve had to steal some photos off of fellow bloggers because I forgot what kind of blog I run and came home emptyhanded… thank you Jackie and Jennifer!

So if I was to continue on with the a decade ago… topic, only because my life is so uneventful right now I’ve somehow managed to get hooked on the Disney Channel on Youtube, a decade ago I was at a suitable age to get hooked on the Disney Channel on Youtube. Well lately I couldn’t help but notice that ten years ago my part-time job of Webdesign was considered more of a hobby than an occupation, but of course back then it was those really wack hobbies like today’s let’s blend everything deal that no one really understands. Who knows, maybe blending is the future. There are so many jobs today that didn’t exist back in year 2000, like professional video bloggers on Youtube – how did they survive before 2005!? or DVD makers, how many floppy discs did they need in order to keep 10 Things I Hate About You!? OK those aren’t real jobs, but you get my point. It’s funny though, to think that those of you still in school are actually learning skills for jobs that don’t exist yet today. Well, good luck to studying for a fantasy future!

To the next ten, may we not end up like some of our parents who do not understand what ‘click the mouse and drag it across the desktop’ implies. I fear that technology will run away with time and I’ll wake up one day not knowing why I’m sleeping on a strange machine they call a bed-ographmeter version 2.33x. And one of you will probably have a job of updating the pillow drivers.

As of Wednesday term ended for me so I’m now latched onto full-time holiday mode, meaning that I no longer sleep in the direction the bed intends me to, but the direction facing the TV, or diagonally depending on whether there is food to consume near an edge of the bed. Actually I’m scheduled to fly back home to Poland on Monday so I’m trying to juice all opportunities where I can be this lazy (to the point that it’s wrong), and not be scolded for it. Looking at the current European weather, it seems that I will have to do some snow digging, but seriously only if we really needed to get the car out of the garage, please let me be, I’m hibernating.

Stocking up on niggles of colour for winter. I figured that it’s enough to be born with an extra organ for cynicism (under the thyroid glands to be precise), it shouldn’t be further applauded by wearing dark colours during the cold seasons – the sun’s short as it is, like the other day it was gone-o by the time I came down for lunch, very confusing… my body clock is now completely scrambled with a side of bacon and toast.

Well I must say that colour is incredibly vitalizing and mood-uplifting, not to sound like a nutrition capsule bottle, but right now the two yellow shoes are entrancing me in a way that keeps me up (and happy) at 5am. Now I understand why, come winter, we find increased fat deposits on our bodies – it was all to make space for some much needed energizers. Check your thighs, it should have a small hatch somewhere to fit two AA’s. Well either that or yellow shoes, I think.

I bought an electronic blanket a few days ago and MY GOODNESS does it beckon me to bed, all day. For the past week that my heater didn’t work and the nights were getting so cold I couldn’t fall asleep till 3am, going to bed was a nuisance. Now work is a nuisance, school’s a nuisance, all life outside the bed is a nuisance. URG. I started this blogging deal 3 hours ago and every 5 minutes I’ve been zoning out into the direction of the bed imaging stupid things like if I die in my sleep with the heating still on would I be cooked raw, medium or well done before someone finds my body.
There, I’ve just gone and stroked the warm underbelly of the duvet for nothing more than pleasure’s sake, and I’m afraid I must go now, goodbye.
