I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Big big apologies for not answering comments and emails in a timely fashion, and for this general slowassness with blogging; it’s May unfortunately and I’m a student… need I say more? Although, I do know for a fact that more than half of you are also here on a procrastination mission of some sort, in which case I must welcome you with open arms. As I told Satpreet a few days ago, I procrastinate-blogwrite and you probably procrastinate-blogsurf – and since we’re ending up at the same location anyway (here?), how about a party? but BYOB please.

OK enough with justifying eachothers’ work not being done; here’s a slap, let’s get back to it.

Thank you Jen the Style Crusader for taking these photos!

Let me explain my favourite pose where I look into the distance: I am indeed looking for the silhouette of a long lost lover to come back from war. Anyone know the whereabouts of a certain private Ryan? His mother calls everyday.

I have a phobia for looking straight in the camera I suppose. I’m always tired and drained in some manner or another so my dark circles get big enough for its own zipcode. Well call it whatever you like, the blogger stereotypical ‘gaze over horizon’ pose, or that pretentious little b…eetlejuice pose – it’s all self preservation, both yours and mine.

Thank you Macku for taking photos!

For those who know of my (irrational?) fear of clowns, this is a huge improvement, no?

Kit and I were scouting side streets of Covent Garden the other day for a good shooting spot, knocking on walls with our blogger stick and scrutinizing the look of each street when we stumbled upon this wall. It was just around the corner from the Royal Drury Lane theatre, right by the headquarters of Paul Smith. I was erh *cough*copulating*cough* with the wall, you know, duty of a style blogger (Get friendly with backdrop), when a man on a bike came up to us and said the mural was only recently deleted. He then whipped out his iPhone and commenced searching for that picture he took of the whole clown, and while doing so I think we saw his entire lifestory in about 500 photos before finding the clown? Well anyway, the charming man showed us the photo and it got me thinking… why did they leave the half? I understand graffiti laws, but half-fulfilled graffiti law?

I just wondered if anyone knew about the story of this mural. Although, I promise I’m not that obsessed in finding out, it’s a clown after all.

Thank you Kit again for the beautiful photos!

Always wanted to try this double-waist thing since I saw it somewhere during one of the fashion weeks (wow, can one get any more vague?). Trouble was finding a pair of trousers tight enough that could fit under a loose pair, and both with a belt-line. These two half met the criteria, so the whole day I felt like I was wearing an oversized diaper…

I’m planning a redesign for the blog, would anyone mind? (Accessibility issues and such…)

Maxi Dress, Leather Jacket – ASOS, Shoes – Office.co.uk, BagBelt – Angels’ Sale, Eagle Belt – Vintage, Faux Lambswool – Gmarket, Scarf – FCUK, Turquoise Ring – Spitafields Market

I’ll write more about the Angels sale soon, but this leather pocket-belt thing is one of the few gems I ran off with! On day 5 a PR came up to me and asked where it was from, and when I told her it was vintage military costume and that it still had dirt in the pockets and she actually yelled THAT IS SO COOL, DIRT FROM A REAL WAR!! No no no no, dirt from some movie set. Perfect pockets for spare batteries and memory cards… although it’s still kind of like burying them in soil.
