I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Today: Wrote one lame paragraph for my dissertation (aimed for 15, oh well.), bought this off etsy, spent 2.5h looking at 15,000 photos from photoalbum, forgot what my face looked like after that so visited the mirror; bought this off etsy, contemplated buying groceries online, I need milk and bread…no delivery under £30? screw you, how about something from Amazon, do I need anything? Doesn’t look like I can afford the new Canon 7D…close window… shoved innocently clean bedsheets into washing machine, watched it spin a bit… did a spell-check on my dissertation… Well now I need to sleep, don’t I. Such a fruitful day.

I had a chance to attend a quick introduction session at Swarovski for their new collection the other day (thank you Laura!), where I was positively shocked at how versatile and widely used crystals were. So much that basically every time you see a sparkle on a fashion garment or home interior, you can safely assume it’s a product of Swarovski. I was shown all the types of beads, application techniques and texture ‘palettes’, then taken around the show room to see how they were put to action. It was a bit like seeing a few yarn balls and then going around to see a Rodarte piece, similar sort of overwhelming, but fantastic nonetheless.

Not feeling so hot today. It’s that kind of day you want to sit on a plastic chair and keel over growling like a pirate.

There’s nothing more satisfying than leaving the house early and following the friend around while she does her chores, whining that I’m hungry and going to faint on the busstop and finally hearing her say FINE WE’LL GO EAT, WOMAN. But I only live to bug you, Elface.

The Stockpot in SoHo is a perfect British equivalent of a diner with homey food and simple but good (for a lack of a better adjective) drinks. Definitely check it out when you’re in London, especially good when you’ve spent all your money in American Apparel and Urban Outfitters that also sorta exist in your own country (but of course it seems better in a foreign country) and all you have is a fiver left in your pocket.

Nonsense, Mr Lamp is NOT for sale, he is merely supervising the stall while I get a burrito.

The rest of the 6 pairs of shoes are, though. While I was moving into my new apartment I realised how many shoes I adopted just to make them orphans in my own closet. So here they all are, looking at you with droopy eyes, how could you resist!?
