I've moved on...
...to a different domain. Why, what were you thinking? The truth is, I just woke up one day and decided it's time for a change—a metamorphosis, if you will; or, in layman's terms, if Britney can shave her head, then maybe so can I? Nevertheless, it's been a rather handsome 10 years of talking to you, and thank you for putting up with all my moodswings and terrible dad jokes. Fear not! The hormonal imbalance and jokes are more terrible on CUBICLE, see you there.

Since I genuinely look like a bum stuffing my face with Haribo Tangfastics while attaching 700 ribbon bits to a jacket (you’ll see what nonsense I’m talking about later) here’s a virtual (H&M) outfit. Well, with longer legs and a different face… Asians all look the same anyway, yeah?

Thank you Jill, you are responsible for the last half hour of no progress, but thanks for that burst of fun.

Sorry to be the missionary of procrastination but take a break, why don’t you.

New Look AW10 Press day

I confess, I wasn’t going to post today… or tomorrow. In fact, I wasn’t going to post till I’d submitted my graduation piece on the 25th. So basically, I think that while handing out slaps in the previous post I knocked meself a few screws loose in the process because the 25th is in a WEEK’s time. A week of silence is probably the blogging equivalent of chronic eczema, and today I was itching so much to blog so as you can see, I chose something easy to put up. O forgive me for being cold and heartless. So now I can go back to convincing myself that painting my nails with Chanel Riviera pink (Thank you Julie for the wonderful gift) is making bigtime progress. Nails need to be painted so fingers have more confidence in labour, NO?

New Look AW10 was strong on shoes & accessories – I always appreciate how well made their shoes are, considering the prices. I’m not entirely sure but I might have missed the clothes section, what do you think? Looking forward to snatching up those brown leather loafer wedges a la MK Olsen, and the black suede lace ups come September!

Big big apologies for not answering comments and emails in a timely fashion, and for this general slowassness with blogging; it’s May unfortunately and I’m a student… need I say more? Although, I do know for a fact that more than half of you are also here on a procrastination mission of some sort, in which case I must welcome you with open arms. As I told Satpreet a few days ago, I procrastinate-blogwrite and you probably procrastinate-blogsurf – and since we’re ending up at the same location anyway (here?), how about a party? but BYOB please.

OK enough with justifying eachothers’ work not being done; here’s a slap, let’s get back to it.

Thank you Jen the Style Crusader for taking these photos!

We arrived at 31 rue Cambon after a pleasant 2-hour Eurostar ride; the lovely ‘French gang’ were there already – Alix the Cherry Blossom Girl, Betty of Le Blog de Betty, Louise from Miss Pandora, Elodie of Le Blog de la Mechante, and Natalie from the German blog Les Mads. Lunch in the lounge came first, and of course I had to screw table manners and take photos of the food – only if I’d had a thicker skin to last through to dessert!

I’d known about the Coco Chanel Cocoon bags before from this sassy video with Daul Kim (RIP) and had fallen in love with the versatility and youthfulness of the shape and material. This new collection (with Vanessa Paradis taking over Lily Allen) was a little less casual, which was a bit of a shame, but where else can you find a bag that can double as a cat/pillow?

I’m still very tickled to have experienced such new and beautiful surroundings, thank you Julie-Anne and Chanel for the invitation and amazing opportunity.

Just a quickie again because my tutor is calling me in at a very inhumane hour (10:30am, OK maybe not that inhumane) and I need to hit the fluffbox. Thanks to sweet Oliwka of Variacje my wallet is officially bulimic, I visited her blog today and that grey felt bag was the first thing I noticed from her smashin’ outfit, and unfortunately there was a shop link and a decent pricetag. Unfortunately, I find out Pakamera.pl also do international shipping, and they take Paypal. UNFORTUNATELY.

The place is like the Polish equivalent of etsy, except treasures seem easier to find. Hey, not speaking Polish is not an excuse, this is the Google translate era! Also, don’t come asking me to be responsible for the money you spend there, although I’m obviously planning to do that to Oliwia. :)
